Frontier's 132-passenger Airbus 319 will service the route four times a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday - from Denver International Airport departing at 12:30 a.m. and arriving in San Jose's Juan Santamaría International airport at 6:25 a.m.
"You sleep on the plane, and you get there at 6:25 a.m.," Hodas said, adding that arriving early gives travelers the entire day to sight see.
The airline hopes to add a Saturday flight to Costa Rica after the first of the year, Hodas said.
